containment, training, educations, etc. Selected by physicians and
administration as the hospital's sole orthopaedic/trauma representative to
attend the Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeon's seminars throughout the
Southeast and Midwest. Presented follow-up educational programs for hospital
staff. Liaison between CMHMC acute care facility and Charlotte Rehab Center
for head trauma, stroke victims, para and quadriplegics. Developed policy,
procedure, and standards of practice of care for trauma patients.

1977)
Worked directly in orthopaedic and elective surgery, med/surg, acute care,
critical care, coronary care, spinal cord injury, neurosurgery, and
psychiatry. Worked private duty cases upon special requests of physicians
and/or families in hospital or homes for critically ill/multiple trauma
patients.
1974 Selected as Board Member & liaison between CPCC School of Nursing &
CMHMC for development of training needs of nursing candidates.
